Fusing Images on Glass
Saturdays from June 1st to June 8th
11 - 1pm
Class Fee: $80.00

In this 2 week class, learn about fired-on photo fusing decal paper. Students will spend first week talking and discussing decal paper while creating bottom layer of plate. The second week of class will finish the discussing of decal paper while applying decal to plate.

Project will be an Independence Day plate. Class is geared towards students with a basic knowledge of cutting and fusing. All supplies included. Students are encouraged to bring their own cutting supplies.

Fusing Fun!
Wednesday, June 26th

Beginner to Intermediate artists welcome! Join us for a night of fusing fun! Artists will engage in an open forum to share and discuss ideas and techniques while working on a project. Artists are to bring own materials and projects. Limited classroom supplies and tools will be available to use during that time.

Kiln Formed Bracelet Class
Saturdays from June 29th to July 6th
10 - 12pm
Class Fee: $60.00

This 2 day class will introduce you to an innovative method of designing, cutting, layering and firing bracelets using a kiln. Once you learn how to design, cut and layer your bracelet blank, you will learn about forming the bracelet. On the second day of class, you will form your bracelet blank while learning how to go about manipulating the bracelet to correct flaws that can arise while forming the bracelets.

All materials are included. Tools are available to use in the classroom but students are welcome to bring their own hand tools.

Slumped Wine Bottles
Saturday, July 13th
11 - 1pm
Class Fee: $40.00

A fun, beginner fusing class (glass cutting skills preferred), where you will learn how quick and easy it is to make a gorgeous gift using a slumped wine bottle.

In this 2 hour class, students will learn tricks on how to remove the bottle's label so it can be reapplied, a suggested firing schedule while addressing problems that can happen while slumping the bottle, along with ways to decorate the bottle once it has been slumped.

Adornments will be fused during class and bottles will be slumped and ready for you to pick up within a week.

Please bring your own glass cutting tools, safety glasses and note taking supplies. Glass and bottles will be provided. You may bring your own bottle, but please clean and dry entire bottle before class.

Mosaic Stepping Stones
Saturday, July 27th
10:30 - 2:30pm
Class Fee: $60.00

Add a little color to your garden or walkway with a glass mosaic stepping stone! In this step-by-step class, you will be learning everything from cutting to layout to mixing and pouring concrete to sealing your finished project. You will be given an 8” x 8” reusable mold, glass, concrete and choice of color concrete pigment to create your own stepping stone. Patterns are available in the classroom or bring your own!

Basic glass cutting experience is recommended. All materials included but you welcome to bring any scrap glass you may have available. Students should have supplies purchased before class starts and arrive on time. Completed projects will be available to pick up the day after class. Tools are available to use in the classroom but students are welcome to bring their own. Tools needed to complete project:

  • Safety Glasses
  • Glass cutter & cutting oil
  • Running/Breaking Pliers
  • Mosaic Cutters/Nippers (optional)
  • Flat-bottom Bucket
  • Drill (to mix concrete)

Have you always admired stained glass but thought it was too difficult to learn? Have you started a project a few years ago but thought you got in over your head?

Rethink those answers with this 3 week class for beginner to intermediate crafters. You will learn how to create beautiful stained glass projects using the copper foil method by developing a basic glass cutting skill, perfecting your soldering, learning techniques of project clean-up and more! Each student will be given a project and glass to go along with it. Students are to bring:

  • Safety Glasses
  • Glass cutter & cutting oil
  • Running/Breaking Pliers
  • 7/32” Silver Back Copper Foil & applicator
  • Soldering Iron (with control if needed)
  • Soldering iron stand
  • Solder

Students are welcome to bring a pre-started project they would like to complete with Jamie’s help. Please have supplies purchased before class starts. Students are welcome to bring a lunch or snack and please arrive on time.

Decorative Soldering
Monday, September 9th

Learn the decorator's secrets for enhancing almost any stained glass project. In this class you will learn different techniques on how to add bumps, stripes and swirls to your solder to make your projects even more beautiful. Find out how metal accents can be a focal point in your panels, a clasp on your box, or just jazz up an ornament. Students will leave with the working knowledge of decorative soldering applications. Students are welcome to bring a lunch or snack and please arrive on time. Students will need to bring:

26 point Moravian Star Light Class
Saturdays from September 21st to October 19th
10:00 - 2:00pm
Class Fee: $225.00

So stained glass has become a hobby of yours and every holiday you always get the same questions from your friends and family, “Do you make those Lighted Moravian Stars?” You’ve always answered “I don’t know how.” Well this holiday season, you can answer them, “YES! Check out this 26 Pointed Moravian Lighted Star I made!” All your friends and family will be asking for one next holiday.

In this intermediate five-day class, you will learn all the steps to create a beautiful 26 Point Moravian Lighted Star which can retail for $500 or more! Students are to bring their own glass, supplies and tools. Lighting supplies are included. Students should have supplies purchased before class starts and arrive on time. Students should bring:

  • Note taking supplies
  • Box (big enough to hold glass pieces)
  • Glass: 1 full size sheet & 1 half sheet (recommended color: Iridized Waterglass)
  • Safety glasses
  • Glass cutting system (i.e. Morton Portable Glass Studio)
  • Glass cutter & cutting oil
  • Running/Breaking pliers
  • 3 rolls of 7/32” Silver Backed Copper Foil & applicator
  • Marker
  • Soldering Iron (with control if needed)

  • Solder

  • 24” ruler or T Square

Intermediate Stained Glass
Wednesday, October 16th

Class Fee: $50.00

Learn the basics of 3-dimensional stained glass construction while creating a beautiful hinged box. This class is perfect for the advanced beginner to intermediate artists. Basic cutting and soldering skills are required. Students will be given mirrored bases (4” x 6”), clear glass for sides and hardware for the box. Students are to bring their own tools and glass in the color of their choice for top of the box. Students will need to bring:

  • Safety glasses
  • Glass cutter & cutting oil
  • Running/Breaking pliers
  • Soldering Iron (with control if needed)
  • Soldering Iron Stand
  • 7/32” Silver Back Copper Foil & applicator
  • Flux & applicator
  • Solder
  • Small sheet of glass in color of your choice for top of box

12 Point Moravian Star Class
Tuesday, November 19th
10:00 - 2:00pm
Class Fee: $60.00

Spend the day making a 12 pointed, three-dimensional Moravian star. It is said that these originated as a geometry lesson for young boys in Germany. Who says you can’t learn geometry while having fun! This intermediate class will give students the opportunity to work with the Morton Cutting System and Beetle Bits Cutting System. Glass (Spectrum, Clear Waterglass) will be included in the class. Students should have supplies purchased before class starts and arrive on time. Students should bring:

  • Safety glasses
  • Glass cutter & cutting oil
  • Running/breaking pliers
  • Soldering iron (with control if needed)
  • Soldering iron stand
  • 7/32” Silver Back Copper Foil & applicator
